I love clotheslines.

I just did three loads of laundry without using the dryer. Fabulous. And everything smells so fresh and outdoors-y. My favourite thing when I was at my grandma's house when I was little was when I got to hang the laundry on the clothesline. I hope I never have to live in a house/apartment without one ever again. Though I realize it might be tough in an apartment. Hopefully I'll have a balcony. That would work. Or I could get the little kind that goes over the bathtub. Though then it would lack the backyard-fresh smell.

I tried to make cookies but they taste a little funny. I think I might have added the baking powder twice. Oops.

Today was a nice cleany day. our living room and kitchen are now in far better shape, i did my laundry for real for the first time since the first time i went to ottawa (I did do a mini load last week, but that was it) and my bedroom is much better than it was. I still need some sort of clothes-hangy thing, though.

Fun visit from our landlord today. It went pretty well, really. He's looking into fixing our house's many troubles, which will be nice. I'm sure many of the things will never happen, but that's really okay.

So nice to have a weekend to just spend at home cleaning. I should really start studying for my exam soon. Hard to believe my course is almost over! Quiz on Monday, final exam on wednesday, and make-up quiz (for the one I missed while in Ottawa) on Friday. Homestretch!
